The inauguration of URJA Incubation Program and a two-day State-Level Orientation Session for District Managers—Livelihood and Marketing—from 34 districts across Maharashtra was successfully conducted on 11 and 12 June 2026 at the Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini (RMP) campus.
The programme was attended by the distinguished guests, including Shri Nilesh Sagar, Chief Executive Officer, Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM); Shri Abhiram Ghadayalpatil, Executive Director, RMP; Dr Prakash Awade, Chief Executive Officer, RMP; and Shri Uday Wankawala, Chief Executive Officer, Atal Incubation Centre – Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini (AIC-RMP).
On the first day, participants were welcomed by Shri Suraj Awhad, Head of the Programme Department, RMP. The session also benefitted from the guidance of Shri Rajiv Singhal, National Manager, National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM).
The orientation saw active participation from Shri Sandeep Jathar, Deputy Director, MSRLM; State Mission Managers; representatives from key state-level verticals including farm, non-farm, livelihoods, convergence, and UMED Mart; along with mentors and startups from AIC-RMP.
The programme served as an important platform for strengthening district-level capacities, enabling cross-learning, and building stronger pathways for livelihood promotion, market linkages, innovation, and entrepreneurship across Maharashtra.
